The main applications are in the sectors of automotive (stabilizer bars, torsion bars and steering racks), machine tools, precision mechanics and bolts.
Drawn bars (+ C cold drawn)
Drawing is a cold plastic deformation operation by which the hot rolled material, in rolls or bars, passes through a calibrated tool, by means of a pulling force.
This process allows the calibration of the product, obtaining narrow dimensional tolerances, uniform surfaces, absence of oxides, limited ovalizations, calibrated thicknesses and also a good roughness and an excellent straightness.
At the end of the drawing process there is an increase in the mechanical characteristics of the product, which depends on the reduction.
